Hope Torregosa, MD

Dr. Torregosa and her nurse Manny are the BEST! I have lived in Utah, Colorado and Washington and she is hands down the most caring and knowledgeable Endocrinologist! She has a wonderful bedside manner. She saved my life, literally. I had been misdiagnosed for decades and had it not been for her knowledge and insight I would have passed away from the cancer in my thyroid that would have most definitely spread to my lymph nodes. I cannot thank her enough or encourage anyone looking for a competent, knowledgeable and truly amazing Endocrinologist to entrust Dr. Hope Torregosa as your Endocrinologist. She is the very best!

Transferring to Dr. Hope Torregosa is the best move we've ever made. My spouse and I are Type 1s and had a long term endocrinologist that recently retired. The care, competency and clear communication with Dr. Hope is outstanding. Her level of knowledge and expertise is unmatched and that is why her wait list is so long.

What a breath of fresh air!

Dr. Torregosa is the first MD I've seen at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health who truly seems to know what she's doing. She took the time to thoroughly address concerns I've been dealing with for five years—issues that no other doctor at VMFH has been able to help with. She ordered a comprehensive set of labs and provided simple, clear explanations for what might be causing my symptoms.

Dr. Torregosa is thorough, kind, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. I left my appointment feeling hopeful and reassured for the first time in years. I’m so grateful she was willing to see me.

I’ve seen Dr Torregosa 2 times now and she was worth the wait. She really studied my issues and explained things well. I did not feel rushed like I do with most specialists. She cares and wants to figure out the why. I wish more doctors did that.

Edit: I really really like Dr. Torregosa but her office staff leaves much to be desired. Dr. Torregosa is diligent about returning emails and staying up to date with me. She is an efficient and responsive doctor. Giving 4 stars because of her. So unsatisfied with this office. First it took 3 tries for them to send a prescription to the correct pharmacy and now waiting for a call from the nurse all day yesterday and now 1:30 today. no call. I just called back and reception told me to try emailing the doctor. argh. very poor service.
