“I went here up until fourth grade and it’s great, my experience here was lovely. The music program when I went here was pretty cool, Ms. Stroh was really nice (I don’t know if I spelled her name right), Mrs. T-P was the absolute best and I cried when she retired. I wish they hadn’t got rid of the old playground or that little chain ladder (even though some kid got really badly stuck in it)”

I knew we had found exactly we had been looking for when we walked through the doors at Central Kitsap Montessori. Everything from the structure of the day, the challenge and purposefulness of the activities, the variety of resources at my little one’s fingertips, the opportunity for independence in a safe and supportive environment to the warm and welcoming staff and the thoughtfulness of every detail of the space (indoors and out)….all our boxes were checked. Without a doubt, the time our daughter spent at CKM has been an absolute blessing and has laid a foundation for her lifelong love of learning! When she brings home her work from the week, her face lights up showing us each activity and she often comes home bursting at the seams to teach us what she has learned that day, which we absolutely love! They created a space where my little one could freely explore, create and learn in a way that was true to her heart! I will forever be grateful for her time there and for all the wonderful people involved!”

“I went to this school as an 11th grader on its first year of opening. There was no senior class yet as we were to be the first graduating class, although I was not there for my senior year, I wish I would have been. It is by far the best school I had ever went to, and I went to a lot. Although this is going on 19 years ago. I loved the set up it had for all the students with two different start and end times for the day. The layout was awesome and so open. I hope all it still the same and the students now get as much out of it as I did. Thank you all for teaching me about all the life lessons with an open heart, mind, and class.”

Like it’s is wonderful, never got used to early mornings & at the time you feel like time goes slow but trust me once it’s over and it’s 5+ years after you can’t help but to reminisce on the timeless memories &once in a lifetime experiences , bonds & friendships you make ! The staff really do put their heart into their jobs. I got to say that I’d never felt healthier, more focused, and motivated in my entire life. I learned so many valuable things during my time at the academy! Definitely one of the best memories and achievements of my life! Do it do it do it! Recommend 100%. “I love this school!~ I prefer it over Cottonwood Elementary School even though I'm 19 and I graduated High School in June 2018. I love and embrace the architecture both inside and outside. I remember the gym where it used to have golden-brown carpet floors. The playgrounds were so cool (The rock and track was my favorite places to go). It felt like the school was stuck in 70s and 80s and I love and enjoy anything retro!~”
