Access Family & Functional Medicine

I have had the pleasure of seeing both doctors at this office over the course of 10 years and they set the standard of what a primary care/ emergency care or even preemptive /proactive care doctor should be. They are extremely knowledgeable with decades of experience and they actually listen to your concerns and treat your health problems with compassion and well-designed treatment plans/ solutions. They both are excellent at taking into consideration the mind and body of a suffering patient. They are directly responsible for the improvement in my quality of life from there treatment over the years.

This is the only doctors office that Ive been to, that will schedule your monthly or follow up appt for you if you've forgotten, usually your out of luck anywhere else if you've forgotten to make a follow up appt and put at the bottom of the list and weeks out. The whole staff , nurses, and docs deserve 6 stars.

Dr. Duran is thorough and a great listener. He's been my doctor through thick and thin and always been there for me and my husband. I love his proactive approach to maintaining a healthy body and he's always giving us information on the latest scientific data.

I have been a patient of DR Duran’s nearly since he opened and with DR Lewis as well when she came to the clinic. Without a doubt the best there is. In times where customer service, personal care, and in most offices a 5 minute flash visit from someone who only knows you by the CHART, the ACCESS CLINIC IS AMAZING. They remember you and beyond the chart, ask about my work, home and family, DR Duran introduced me to his wife and DR. Lewis and I discussed training as she is a marathoner and I cycle and triathlon. I am able to do these things today because of the honest care, personal touch, and and skilled medical care. I have been an athlete and coach my entire life through college and semi professional. The years take a toll, and I have undergone 14 orthopedic surgery’s, including 9 on my knees, C6/7 cervical and L1, L2, L3, L4, & S1 vertebrae. At one point I had lost some of my ability to walk and had a foot lag that caused me to fall several times the worst was a 2am fall on my frozen deck, stuck for a half hour in pajamas and bruises so bad they turned black. Through some good surgery and Access Health I am 54 workout at least 4 times a week, online fitness videos for my students sometimes 2-3 workouts per day, cycled 1600 miles last year and preparing for the cycling leg for my first team triathlon in September. I owe a lot to Access and DR’s Duran and Lewis go way beyond the simple role of doctors they build relationships and see the whole picture and over wellness. Like I said I owe them quite a lot they are the best without a doubt in my mind. God Bless.

This is a great clinic. The reception desk is always friendly. The nurses are all very nice and personable and more than happy to engage in dialogue, answer questions, share experiences...
My doctor (Duran) is so knowledgeable and thorough and always willing to share that information with you. If he doesn't know something, he'll find out. His goal, as far as I can tell, is to help you achieve your best health and he helps and cheers you along the whole way

I finally found a primary care doctor, Dr. Cheryl Lewis. She is so sweet and caring. The staff (front desk and medical) have always been so nice every time I come in for an appointment or to get blood work done. It's very helpful that they are open on Saturdays too.
