If you find yourself way out of town and are around Buckley around noon. This is a great spot to stop and have lunch outside. Great burgers, fries and shakes. Friendly staff and clean establishment.
Food was good. Prices were a bit on the steep side. Ala cart pricing. 20 cents for water and 45 for extra sauce seems like a gouging after have paid 10 bucks for a burger and 5 for a shake. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean.
I will stop in again.
I stopped here with my wife to grab a quick snack. We pulled up to the covered parking area and ordered two milkshakes using the car side intercom, a nice throwback to 50s 60s drive ins. The shakes are great, made from real ice cream and thick.
I was in town for an appointment and saw the restaurant. Decided to stop in and give it a try. Service was friendly and informative. Burger patties were huge if you compare it to McDonald’s or Burger King. I ordered the Wally Whopper which came with 2, 1/4 pound patties.
The burger was outstanding. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking for something new to try.
Went back yesterday and tried the Waltimate and wow is it one of the largest single patty burgers I have ever eaten.
I love this place!
Great location, quick service, fresh food, and easy drive in spots.
They have plenty of options for picky eaters or those with dietary restrictions. Their veggie garden burger is delicious, and their vegan beyond burger is even better! And for you meat eaters out there, their huge burgers are fresh and juicy with lots of available toppings.
They have handmade milkshakes with real ingredients, delicious ice cream and sundaes, and super thick malts called “whizzers”. They even have huge pieces of fish and chips and a full breakfast menu.
I HIGHLY recommend throwing an order of fried mushrooms with whatever else you get, they are amazing and the garlic sour cream sauce they come with forms a perfect pair.
If you ever drive by Wally’s drive in or even are in the nearby mount rainier vicinity this is definitely a place to stop and is well worth the fairly cheap price tag.
