As the Power of Attorney for my remarkable 102-year-old mother-in-law, who has been a cherished resident of Wisteria Lodge since its inauguration in 2016, our experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. The strong relationship forged over the years with the dedicated mother-son team reflects their commitment and genuine compassion. With 25 years of business acumen, their success is evident, making Wisteria Lodge a thriving community. Proudly embracing their Romanian heritage, they have created more than just a living space; it's a home exuding warmth, respect, and outstanding care.
My 101 year old mom (her son Randy's speaking) has lived in Wisteria Lodge for several years. She has been treated with respect and well being. Mark and Carolina are dedicated to providing top notch care. I would highly recommend Wisteria Lodge.
My husband requires a very high level of care and he has received it with Carolina and her son who own and operate Wisteria Lodge. Meals are home cooked using fresh, whole ingredients and served to each person according to their individual needs. The house is not only clean, but always smells clean. The grounds are beautiful and always improving. Most importantly, each person is treated with respect, kindness, and effort to improve their status. It is a quiet, homey, and peaceful place and my husband feels well cared for, which is all-important to me.
Our mom has been a resident at Wisteria Lodge for a few years now. Prior to selecting this adult family home, we toured several others. It was important to us to find a place where our mother would feel comfortable and, most importantly, would be well taken care of. We were impressed with Wisteria Lodge right away. It is a very nice home in a peaceful country setting. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the open floor plan provides a warm family atmosphere. This allows the residents to feel a part of things, and the caregivers are right there to attend to any needs they may have. Along with the excellent care our mother receives, I appreciate the special touches. For example, when holidays and birthdays roll around, they create a festive atmosphere, inviting the families to celebrate with their loved ones. In nice weather, there's a sunny deck to sit on. And sometimes the ladies even get to enjoy a manicure, if they choose. We are happy we found Wisteria Lodge.
My mother has been cared for at Wisteria Lodge for over three years now, and I feel like we could not have made a better choice. The facility is homey, but much more spacious and inviting than the other AFHs we toured. The rates are reasonable. The food is excellent - tasty and nutritious. But the care is most important, of course. There again, I have no complaints. The caregivers are knowledgeable and kind, treating my mom as if she truly was one of their family. I trust them completely and am so grateful to know my mother is in such good hands.
