“It’s funny how things work out. About 8 years ago I stumbled onto this gym and was curious so I stopped by and chatted with David, he was very welcoming and down to earth. He told me about his approach to fitness and coaching style and it seemed like the perfect gym for me but for whatever reason it took me another 6 years before I returned to actually take my first class. At age 51, and with chronic back pain and mobility issues from an injury in my 20’s, I started working out at CrossFit Gig Harbor 3 days a week with the hope of improving mobility and my level of fitness. I had no idea it would become my home away from home. I can’t remember the last day I missed; it’s my daily shot in the arm and my fitness level is far beyond what I ever expected. I’m at the gym 5-6 days a week now and it has changed my life and reset any preconceived ideas about what life after 50 should be. At 53 I am in the best shape of my life and I’m still what I would consider to be a rookie at this fitness thing. It doesn’t matter what level you are at. The coaches at CrossFit Gig Harbor will address your needs and encourage you in your journey to physical fitness. In today's day and age, most healthcare systems treat patients as just a number and seek to push out as many as possible each day. Dr. Galvon has never treated me as just a number. “This is the prettiest McDonald's that I know of. I came here and parked in front and walked inside. I had no idea it would be this nice. I didn't have any issues. I ordered a kids hamburger happy meal (for myself). While I waited a couple of minutes I walked around and took a couple of quick pictures. I had a great experience.”

“My husband has been living at Brookdale Harbor Bay for over a year now. This is a specialized memory care facility (there is another Brookdale in Gig Harbor which is assisted living - two different facilities). I have been very happy with the care he has received here. I spend time there almost every day, and I am very impressed with the caring staff and the concern for both the resident and the family members who are dealing with the devastating disease of dementia. I read the earlier review, which appears to be for the Brookdale Assisted Living, not Brookdale Harbor Bay. Brookdale Harbor Bay has an excellent reputation in the community, and I would recommend it as a possibility to explore if you are looking for Alzheimers/dementia care for a loved one.”

I had all four wisdom teeth come in and was so scared of having to get them removed. But seeing Dr. Wilcox was the best decision I made. He and his team are there for you and genuinely care that you are well taken care of. He and his assistant answered every question in detail, communicated with me through the whole procedure and made sure I was absolutely numb and absolutely comfortable the entire time. I would 100% recommend Dr. Wilcox to anyone in need of preventative or urgent dental care.”

“We love our dentist’s office! Our dental hygienist, Sarah, is amazing, as well as Theresa at the checkout desk. We love them both! The new receptionist is great too, but I forgot her name. All super friendly! The decor is warm and inviting the waiting room. The dental rooms and chairs are always clean, and the staff does their due diligence about staying clean and sanitized between each patient. The dentists are also very nice, and all the dental hygienists that we’ve seen have been friendly and great. They all basically know us by name, which is very personable and wonderful. Dr. Block does a great job with the kids and is very thorough on explaining what we need to do with our kids’ teeth to keep them healthy. She also isn’t pushy about things we don’t want to do such as fluoride, antibiotics (she gave me a less harsh alternative to try when my daughter had swollen gums), and other things. Which is a huge plus to me! Highly recommend this place if you live in the area, or even OUT of the area.”
