Ive been a patient here since the first day they opened this clinic. The first month I came here I was really regretting switching from the auburn location- it was so dysfunctional and stressful. After making several staffing changes it’s really blossomed into an amazing place and I’m glad I stuck it out. The small staff here are helpful and accommodating -I like that they know me by name. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and they have a steady stream of patients all day long. I say thing because I can’t do crowded waiting rooms or lots of loud noises. This place has a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere and waiting room. I usually only see one other patient when I come- I appreciate the fact it’s not chaotic or crowded. Im usually I’m and out within 15-20 mins. My prescription is called in same day. The dedicated provider they have for this clinic, Kristin, is so awesome.
If you’ve never been to ideal option then just know that you will meet with your treatment provider virtually every time. You’re in a provider room however, the reason they do this is because having appointments virtually allowed them to help a lot more patients in a day. This was really off putting at first and I didn’t really like going into an office to see a provider virtually- but it’s grown on me. Kristin is highly dedicated to helping me get and stay sober- not only with opiates but other substances too. She’s facilitated in prescribing me other medications (besides suboxone) that are helping me on my path to sobriety. She’s looked up IOP treatment facilities that take my insurance when I was struggling to find an in person treatment center. The staff make it easy to be a patient here. I was really skeptical about coming here in the beginning but it’s been almost a year and I’m glad I came because I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without them.
I Went for an intake appt and so far the staff has; been extremely helpful and polite, the counselor and the physician were also very nice seem to genuinely care about your needs. Offices are a bit cold, and the whole video chat process was something I will have to get used to. Other then that I would honestly say they were over all better then most facilities that offer MAT programs.
