I consulted with Stephen about restoration and repairs to make to our '72 land yacht safari- immediately he climbed under true trailer and noticed that the brake wires on the curbside front wheel had separated, which certainly made my drive home safer! He was also VERY helpful in helping me to understand the depth and scope of the project ahead of me- and what parts I should attempt myself and what it might be pragmatic to have them do. He didn't try to salesman me, but rather spoke to me as if we were old friends and he had valuable information to offer. We will definitely be hiring thier services for the parts of this project that I don't feel comfortable doing myself.
A good group of people. I consulted with them on design a custom trailer. They we're very generous with their time and extremely knowledgable.
I have a 2004 Nash 16c that has some delamination due to the way I stored the trailer while my husband was sick. I love that little trailer and did not know what to do to fix it. I found the Little House Trailer Company but thought it might not be the type of trailer they would be interested in repairing. Happily I found out a trailer does not have to be an Airstream or large for them to work on it. If the trailer is important to you, then it is important to them. That doesn't mean they will take everything in for repair. It has to make sense for both their shop and the customer. If the trailer is beyond repair or doesn't need repair, there is no need for it to be worked on. Stephen took his time to hear my story and my concerns about the trailer. He also had Jeremy come over to help in the discussion. They really put me at ease. As it turns out, my little Nash does not need repair work..... yet. How honest is that? Other places would probably have played up the delamination, taken the trailer in for work and gladly taken my money. Stephen coached me about my next steps and will help me out when I need repairs or replacement work. You bet Little House Trailer Company is going to be getting my business. I would definitely recommend them to others. High quality people!
These guys are awesome! I had no idea what I was looking for and the owner had me come down to the shop and took me through all the stages of remodeling and what to look for when buying, free of charge with no expectations of me buying anything that day. They do amazing work and have ingenious solutions to all sorts of problems. Once I find my trailer I will definitely be having them do most of the work!
