Once again Jonquil has masterfully and lovingly brought my locs to life. This is my second visit to her! The first involved taming 7 year old growth. Both times I walked out feeling held and seen. Her extensive knowledge and clear passion for her craft shine through at every interaction. I am so grateful to have found her.

Jonquil has been doing my dreads for 10+years! She is absolutely amazing at her craft. Before working with her I had my dreadlocks serviced many times by many people. No one that serviced my dreads before her even compared. Often times I was left paying hundreds of dollars for a service. Yet the work would only hold up for a couple of days on most occasions.

Not only does her work hold up for months on end. She has continuously gotten better and faster with every service. She is constantly changing her style to be more effective and efficient.

I will never have anyone else do my dreads! Jonquil is the best!

I have gone exclusively to Jonquil for 15 years and am constantly amazed by her artistry and hair sculpturing abilities. I love my dreads so much. Her professionalism and reliability and communication is unwavering.

Jonquil was so nice and incredibly professional! She provided tons of education and input for how we accomplish what I didn’t realize I was looking for, and how I should be maintaining at home. She gave me a weft of hair to take home to practice on for my own upkeep, and super easy step by step instructions. Jonquil asked me detailed questions, and showed me what I should be using at home also, and we had a great balance of mixed conversation. My locks are in and it’s been over a week. Everything that has occurred since I came home, was covered in detail, as far as scalp discomfort, for how long, and why it happens, what to expect between our initial appointment and my next one, how to keep them from “marrying”, the different kinds of locks that may or may not occur (I let my hair be wild and “feral” as we decided was the best way to describe my hair goals), and overall Jonquil just really left zero room for surprise or concern. I LOVE what we started, we added 15 different locks in random areas throughout, and I’m so excited for more! I’m looking forward to my next service for sure! I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to work with Jonquil. Also, I’m a licensed cosmetologist, safety and sanitation is above standards, for state board and current Covid mandates . I highly recommend as a consumer and as a professional!
