“I understand the frustration in some of these reviews, but honestly some of the struggles people mention are really common in any doctors office and cannot be controlled, by both the patient and the staff. I've gone here my whole life and its a great office. The nurses are nice, and my doctor has been so helpful and supportive of me. The wait times can be long sometimes, and calling them may be hard, but its really nobody's fault- its a doctor's office, they're busy with other patients too, remember youre not the only one waiting to be seen ”

“So wonderful! Thank you Dr. Banda!!! I was referred in by my ophthalmologist for bleeding in my eye with a possible retina tear. The initial appointment set by my doctors office was TWO WEEKS out. Sound Retina got my records late on a Monday, and upon reviewing them asked if they could see me sooner and scheduled me for early on that Wednesday morning. That person was very friendly and helpful. Wednesday morning upon arriving we waited an initial very short time before we were escorted back for my initial exam by a really kind, helpful, professional young man, Michael. He did the initial exam, took my eye pressures, and put in the drops to dialate my eyes. Next a young woman took me for pictures of inside my eye. I was moved to the examining room for the retina specialist by his assistant. He did a thorough examination of my eye having the problems and determined I did have a small retinial tear apparently near the bottom of my eye in an area very hard to determine (likely the reason my ophthalmologist couldn't see it). He let me know he was going to need to do immediate laser surgery on my eye. They prepped my eye and took me in for the surgery. The retina specialist Dr. Banda, was a newer specialist to Sound Retina, but my husband and I REALLY liked him. He explained things very well and continually worked to keep me as comfortable as possible throughout the surgery, both physically and mentally. He was just awesome! I can highly recommend him!!! The facility is large, really nice, and very clean. But really, the people there are their very best quality! Top notch from every single person. Literally from the person who answers the phone, all the way to the doctor taking care of you. They also are really helpful to make sure your insurance is taken care of for everything, including which doctors you see. I called this morning to verify if another kind of eye drop is okay to use after the eye surgery right before I started this review. The person answering the phone was helpful and friendly. I had a call back from the triage person before I had gotten to the third paragraph. Very helpful, very friendly. I highly recommend Sound Retina, most especially Dr. Banda!!!”
