Stopped by after a hike and enjoyed a couple empanadas, favorite was the ham and cheese. Loved that there were a couple tables outside so we could stop with my dog.
Great coffee drinks, perfect shots. The empanadas are fantastic. Make sure to get some chimichurri sauce to go with them.
Workers/owners are cool folks, too. Always reading interesting stuff.
What a wonderful surprise! This place has a great vibe and a very friendly staff. Unlike a lot of coffee shops this has an almost anti-boujee feel to it. Coffee and other drinks are made with quality ingredients. Baked goods are pretty good. The ham and cheese empanadas smothered in the homemade chimichurri are absolutely delicious. Don't sleep on this place! Recommended
The store & staff are charming just like the town. They have typical coffee options they do well, but we really enjoyed their unique (or signature or whatever) mochas/lattes/etc. Usually I don't like stuff like that, but these were fun, bold, and not too sweet. I had the Mexican Coffee and it was amazing - legit spicy and JUST sweet enough. Wife had a Dulce De Leche, which was sweeter but didn't overpower the coffee flavor. Also the empanadas were awesome, like they were made in a French bakery or something.
I can't figure out if this place is a chain, there are a few other "Nomad" shops, but regardless, it feels very unique, novel, and welcoming.
This is a hidden gem that I definitely didn't expect to find in a small out-of-the-way town. Very good third wave coffee roasted in house - worthy of any upscale quality establishment in Seattle proper. Also, amazing tamales. So good we had to order a second round.
