Woodin Valley Baptist Church

This is where I met My LORD! As a young adult I came to Woodin Valley knowing something was wrong in my soul but not understanding what. Before this time I had come to realize that there was a whole in my heart. What I hadn't yet discovered was that Jesus is the only thing that could fill that whole...So once I came to Woodin Valley I found the missing piece! Jesus filled that whole the day I invited him into my heart and he filled it perfectly and for all eternity! Since coming to the Lord as an adult, I have been very blessed and encouraged to grow in grace under the preaching and teaching of God's precious word. Observing those ahead of me in their spiritual walk to continue to walk with God has meant so much! I am also thankful that Woodin Valley takes the needs of each age group into account! I have 1 adult child who has grown up in the church, 1 who is not far behind and 2 younger. My husband, kids and I love our church family at Woodin Valley! I can't imagine, or maybe I should say I don't even want try to imagine how different our lives would be without this church!

Such a lovely Pastor and pastor's wife! I feel very welcome everytime I walk in the doors.

Wonderful group of people!

My family came to this church when I was a teenager and I am so thankful they did! Pastor Farinella loves God and the Bible and faithfully preaches all of the Bible. I learned so much. I also knew I was loved there. I have since grown up and married and moved away. But I love getting to visit again when I am I am in town. Some of my favorite people are there. But it's especially wonderful knowing God is continuing to change lives there week by week. - Alicia
