Caring Cabin Adult Family Home

The name Caring Cabin is indicative of the care my wife received when she was a resident. She and I plus all of our family were treated with upmost respect. The staff of caregivers were excellent in all aspects. Caring Cabin became a second home for my wife and our family. I would highly recommend them as an excellent option if you are looking for a safe caring place for a loved one.

Our mother resided at Caring Cabin for over a year. During her stay she was well cared for.
The owner and caregivers treated her like family, she was happy and enjoyed the entertainment provided for all the residents, the sing-alongs were her favorite activity.
We could visit anytime and always felt welcome.
Our family was comforted knowing our mom was safe, taken care of and comfortable.
Caring Cabin is a nice clean AFH. I would recommend this home for your loved one.

When my 95-year-old father was diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized to his bones, I was faced with finding someplace where he would receive quality nursing care yet live in a home-like environment. I was so thankful to find Caring Cabin.

Caring Cabin is owned and managed by Ina Lungu, an RN, who lives in the facility with her wonderful family. Fedor, Ina’s husband, was great with my dad and her young daughters made frequent appearances, to the delight of the residents.

Most importantly, Ina is a skilled, caring nurse. Instead of delegating most of the nursing care to aides, she spent countless hours with my dad, making sure he was as comfortable as he could be in his last weeks.

I was so happy to find Caring Cabin for my Mom. After a month long stay in a rehab center, it was obvious that she couldn't return to her assisted living apartment and the search for a comfortable, beautiful new home for her was difficult and depressing. Driving up to Caring Cabin was like a ray of sunshine! The grounds are serene and the house is specially designed for adults who may need different levels of care. It was especially important to me as a nurse that the staff be medically able to give care and was happy to find that Ina is an RN with years of elder care experience. Mom has been well cared for and I thank Ina, Valentina and Arlene for their attention and love.

I highly recommend Caring Cabin to anyone looking for a special place for their loved one. Ina and her staff at Caring Cabin have provided excellent, compassionate care for my father as well as our entire family. I cannot imagine a better place for my father to be during this last year.
From the very beginning, we could see that my father had the best of care. He was always clean and comfortable through the highs and lows of Dementia and Parkinsons. We could not have managed his care on our own. Ina and her staff took so much stress and pressure off my mother and our family.
Caring Cabin provided my father and our family with a warm and inviting home. Ina truly has a special gift for care giving and we feel blessed as a family to have my father in her care.
