At the time of my visit, Chk a Boom is take out via Arnie's, not a separate restaurant, so it was confusing to find. The signs are not clear.
The chicken sandwiches are quality made, juicy, and flavorful. I got the Nashville Hot, which wasn't particularly spicy at all. It is a messy sandwich that 10 min drive home was enough to get a soggy bun. The pickle fries were tasty but quite greasy and soggy from the container. My group's Thai Sweet Chili and Bourbon Brie chicken burgers were reported to be very tasty. Price point felt high for size of burger and other options in Seattle. I would order again but would consume immediately at the nearby beach.
Amazing. This place is legit y’all. You can tell everything is made from scratch, and they put forth extra efforts to make sure it arrives to you as neatly as possible. Whipped cream was made from scratch and you can actually taste the vanilla. Keylime pie was so good I was directing an orchestra with my fork in between each bite. Chicken sammich…no iceberg lettuce here. Just quality ingredients and it shows in every. single. bite. Try them, don’t chicken out….;)
Picked up a Nashville chicken sandwich to split with my fiancé. Wow this chicken boom was a mouthful of flavor. Very surprised at the sauce just great. Chicken was high quality and the bun and toppings completed the sandwich.
This was a trial we will 100% be back to try all flavors. So happy to have a nice quick affordable high quality grab and go chicken sandwich to eat in downtown Edmonds.
I've only been by one time so far, but I loved this as a fried chicken sando option in the area. I tried the Nashville Hot and was really impressed with the potato bun, the seasoning on the chicken, and the overall quality. It was cooked perfectly. The hot sauce definitely had a kick, but it was balanced with the coleslaw and pickles. They've absolutely nailed the breading. Really flavorful and not too thick.
If you try it, make sure you order the pickle fries. They might be one of the best values in the menu, and they're probably the best pickle fries I've ever had.
