Wonderful
If you are looking for more structure and a set schedule, than ATP is definitely for you. I started private at a mom and pop flight school and I didn't have the best experience, I decided to join a larger more refined flight school to get on a fast track to complete all my certs. I had a much better experience with ATP and I went from being a private pilot to being full MEI in less than a year. You do have to study hard to be successful, but ATP gives you a login to their advanced extranet where you keep track of everything you have accomplished as well as all your future objectives, you also gain access to ATPs huge library of resources that will assist you throughout the program. I would definitely recommend ATP to anyone starting out, you will learn things the correct way.
Great instructors, aircrafts are well maintained, learned valuable lessons regarding flying through weather.
Great spot for anyone who wants to get airplane ratings quickly and is willing to pay quite a bit to do so. This location has some of the best instructors across all of ATP, who are friendly and professional. Flying wise, this location can be challenging because of weather in the fall, winter, and even into early spring months.
An excellent option for anyone looking to go from Zero Flight Time all the way through to the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFI-Instrument, Multi-Engine Instructor) ratings. The Paine Field Location is subject to lower viz weather in the fall so I recommend starting as early in the summer as possible so that you have achieved your instrument rating by the fall. This will expedite your progress. I started in July of '18 and completed all of my ratings within 10 months.
The program is challenging, and involves 2 months off site at Flight Instructor Academy. Additionally, it is expensive, but if speed is your goal, ATP can provide you the framework to accomplish this.
