A TRUE CRAFTSMAN. I feel very lucky to have chosen Paul to reupholster my mid century sectional. He was genuinely interested in the way it was constructed when I brought it in, and it could not have looked more beautiful or well done when I got it back. The work was done exceptionally well and in a timely manner. Paul was working on some vintage pieces when I visited to pick out my upholstery fabric, and I got the impression he enjoys, and has much experience, reviving older pieces to give them new life. Paul communicated with me often through texts, several times sending a question while working on one of my pieces to make sure the outcome was just as I was hoping. Paul does his work at his home, and while I'm sure there are more slick looking upholstery shops around, I suspect there are not many people doing upholstery with more years of experience, skill, and genuine pride and satisfaction in doing an exceptional job than Paul.

Paul takes great pride in his work. He was accommodating and very easy to work with. The two chairs I had upholstered turned out great! Paul exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend Designer’s Choice Upholstery.

Paul did an excellent job on resurrecting a 50-year-old chair and ottoman. Not only is it upholstered well, the pattern on the fabric matches up, and I have a treasure restored to use.

Paul is great at what he does, and a pleasure to work with. He is helpful, prompt and skilled. He recovered a HUGE mid century sofa for me, and it looks amazing, The attention to detail and functionality put him in an elite league. He fixed springs, created new cushions and did what needed to be done to bring this piece of furniture back to life. Highly recommend him. As a bonus, he will pick up and deliver for a fraction of what others charge.

My wife and I have a newly recovered couch which was completed with promptness and quality craftsmanship. It was a decent couch to begin with, which made it worth recovering. When it was brought back, we could see how some details in the original manufacturing of the piece were fixed. The problems had included: the size of the seat cushions hadn't aligned with the front of the couch as well as they could; the material of the back cushions slid around the shape of the cushion material which required constant readjustment; the back cushions did not follow the contours of the seat cushions, leaving a gap. These are no longer problems. We are very pleased with the workmanship and the interactions we've had with Designer's Choice Upholstery.
