Our toddlers were in heaven! Lots of space to let the kids explore. The owners were extremely good with kids and made them excited to learn about the farm. We stayed in the covered tent platform during a rainy night and were pleasantly surprised at how dry we stayed. Planning our next trip already
Stayed with my husband for a night prior to hiking in the nearby national forest. We were very impressed with the amenities: clean and well constructed bathrooms with showers, an outdoor kitchen, wifi throughout the camp, and of course the charming Alpacas! It was a great experience for a very reasonable price - would definitely recommend and stay again.
David is a wealth of information about farming and alpacas! He is so welcoming. Our kids got up close and personal with alpacas safely with David’s guidance. We rented three of the yurts with two other families and enjoyed this unique stay. One highlight was the hike down to the river, which took 20-30 minutes each way. Soaking our feet in the cold mountain water on a hot day felt divine. We brought things to grill on the communal BBQ and were appreciative of the showers after a day of farm smells on our bods. :) We loved Lila’s Cafe in Granite Falls for coffee, brunch, and ice cream.
Paca Pride was an incredible experience, and we stayed in a yurt for the first time! It has electricity and a small heater, including outlets for use. Yurt 2 has a large table for board games, couch, and the mattresses we slept on were great. It rained while we were there, but that just made the yurt even cozier. David is a phenomenal host, you can tell he loves his job. He takes the time to educate you not only on the alpacas and llama on the farm, but also about the area and different trails to hike. The bathroom and showers were in great shape, and loved having a grill to cook on. We will definitely be back and will maybe even help work the farm next time! Also definitely check out the Big Four Ice Caves trail - it does have a steady incline though so if not in peak shape (like me) it'll wind ya. But totally worth it!
My parents visited last year, and my dad raved about his socks so much that I ordered a pair. I called and needed a rush delivery, and they were incredibly kind and efficient, even when they didn't have power!
My adventure socks arrived in time, and they were the PERFECT companion for my first mountaineering trip.
I would highly recommend their incredibly soft and warm products. I can't wait to get up there and visit soon ☺️
