Lisa, great lady, checked us in and told us the owner also owned a restaurant with wonderful food like biscuits and gravy (we are plant based). Very very clean room and non-smoking room, all amenities, but only coffee, Terrible orange juice (said no high fructose) and Nuti-bars. Lisa was so kind and said a couple times if anything isn't right to let her know. I looked for plug in and pulled out night stand. To my surprise IT WAS CLEAN BEHIND IT. Lisa said the noise from the highway and Interstate couldn't be heard in the room and she had stayed in rooms on that side before very quiet when door is closed. Not so true! Motorcycles and semis could be heard all night once our TV was turned off. BRING EAR PLUGS. For the price and 2 star rating, was a GREAT STAY in a safe area, close to Nashville, easy Interstate access and pool (even if closed for the season.

Building was old but in good, clean condition, could stand some updates but it's nothing to really complain about. Staff very nice. Kudos for dog-friendliness, sufficient grassy area for dogs. Outdoor entrance rooms usually tends to let all outside noise, but in this case we were able to get a good nights sleep without outside distractions.

The front desk person was real friendly and helpful. The first non-smoking room we got smelled like stale smoke. She got us a different room that smelled much better however there were light bulbs missing. She was able to find us some light bulbs but then we found out the floor lamp was broken. They no longer serve the continental breakfast however it was advertised as such. She was good to tell us that right away though. The hotel has been through some wear and tear and is in need of some maintenance it was fairly clean and convenient. Again the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.
