A Holistic Adult Family Home

Erin is an incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate caregiver that has built a family home with staff that share the same traits. My grandma had the best experience and care possible in the years she spent in this home and Erin was always available for answering questions, advice, and a shoulder to cry on when needed. Our family could not have asked for a better experience. Not only was Erin in the medical field for years before opening her home she also has an on staff physical therapist, and provides opportunities for in home healthcare, haircuts and foot care. My grandma is wheelchair bound and has early stages of dementia and Erin continually worked with me on how to provide for her changing needs. The only downside is that they do not do a spin down for Medicaid otherwise we would still be there. If private pay is an option than it is worth every penny.

We were lucky to have my mom at A Holistic Adult Family Home for almost a year. She had to have more care than her Assisted Living facility provided. After moving into the home, she gained weight and really looked well. Unfortunately a series of strokes caused her passing recently. She received such love and care while she resided there by Erin and her staff. Highly recommend.

Erin and her staff are simply amazing. Our brother-in-law, Mark, was at the home for 10 months, and our experience couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, and Erin was always available anytime for questions or concerns. The home is warm, inviting, and well kept, and the residents are treated as family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of Erin’s homes for family members in need of extra care.

Erin Moody has created and manages a remarkable set of adult family homes. Last year my father, at 96, was declining and his assisted living facility was failing him miserably. I live out of state and I urgently needed to find him a new home. There were so many complex parts to this decision. I researched and phoned and toured and scoured the area. Every site in some way fell short.

And then I met Erin and was immediately impressed with her energy, her intelligence and her commitment to the principles of holistic, compassionate care. The homes were lovely, the atmosphere inviting, and the description of the level and breadth of care was unmatched.

We were incredibly fortunate there was a room for Dad at A Holistic Adult Family Home. His room and the house were lovely and bright. Gradually Dad's mood brightened as he warmed to the staff and the residents and he even put on a little (needed) weight from the good cooking. I could trust that the spectrum of his well being would continue to be assessed and responded to. When changes were needed they were communicated quickly and solved immediately. On the day Dad moved in I was confident in the quality of their program of care. His time there underscored that confidence.

Erin is on top of all aspects the setting and the care. She and the staff are warm, patient and genuine in their regard for the full personhood of each resident. I am deeply grateful for Erin's intelligent direction and for all of the staff members' loving support and assistance for my father. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Erin and staff of - A Holistic Adult Family Home - gave exceptional care to my mother. I commented several times, “you saved her life”. The staff were attentive to her needs and understood our every request. Covid brought challenges they met with wise choices, keeping Mom safe and happy❤️.
