(September 5, 2018, 2:37 pm)Twin Rivers Correctional Unit (TRU) is part of Monroe Correctional Complex, a State prison 20 miles north of Seattle. While no prison is a picnic, the administration of the prison is serious about rehabilitation and bringing volunteer services to the inmates. The library is just one of the services that the men can use to rehabilitate their lives.
Having been a volunteer there since 2013 for Toastmasters, Freedom Project, and now running a Defy Ventures program on the inside, I can say that TRU and those running it deserve credit!
