The Evergreen State Fairgrounds

Love this fair! By ourselves or with kids and grandkids, it never disappoints.
From the animals, display halls, food options, carnival rides and shows.
Every year we enjoy it.
If you have children or bringing grandchildren definitely get the wristband and you'll save a lot of money on the carnival rides.
They have an area with rides for older children and a separate area with rides for little ones.

I visited the fair for the first time on Sunday. Place was really crowded, despite it having a lot of space. There were buildings that had a lot of contests and programs showcased, which surprised me as I never seen a fair do that before. It was a very eye-opening and educational experience. I loved the cat show.

I did pay for things with my debit card with no problems. But it's better to pay with cash for a faster transaction.

A lot of the rides in the amusement park were not fat or tall people friendly. On the rides I did get on, I had to sit in certain ways to be somewhat comfortable because my legs were too long.

Then there's the lack of maps around the area. It's easy to get lost if you're not in a group.

Got to see the reptile exhibit and petted the tortoises.

Food there is good, standard carnival food. Had my first blooming onion!

Overall, it's a decent fair!

It's a shame that nternational credit cards doesn't work there. However the team was very helpful and understood the whole situation. Thanks guys for this one!
The place is fine and have a good infrastructure to offer. Would be nice have more events around.

Fun,entertainment, and education for the whole family. We took old time photos and shopped and played carnival games rode rides, visited sheep's and pigs and horses and learned about whittling and gluten free flours and so many other things. It was practically half museum half carnival. An excellent place to bring your kids and well worth the entrance fee. The only thing we were left desiring was that the games cost far too much. At one dollar a ticket having each game require 6 to ten tickets meant 6 to 10 bucks for each chance to win. I'd rather them make the games harder than increase the price so much. It makes it rather unattainable to win your partner something. Furthermore I think the speedway should have been included and just have people run practice laps....but that's a personal suggestion. All in all it was difficult to see everything in a day so for sure your day will be packed full of entertainment!!!!!

Entry was difficult with credit card ,advise cash.Limited maps to get around ,just ask volunteers. Lots of selection of food 😋, vendors plenty ,livestock and interesting stuff. Good day for all.
