I had a wonderful experience with Captain Mike! I called to ask about a session with a pilot to have an experience in a simulator not as a student but as someone with a hobby interest in aviation. I spoke with Mike about what I was looking for and we had an hour session in the 737 Max 8 Simulator and it was incredible. I recommend a simulator experience for those who have an interest in aviation; it is important to remember that it is a training simulator and not a video game, though Mike is wonderful at making it an engaging and enjoyable flight experience for any level. I had no experience whatsoever with any flight simulators and the hour with Mike flew by, and I learned many things and had a wonderful time! The experience was so great that I decided to take a ground school program to prepare for the written test! Thank you, Captain Mike, for giving me the flight of my life!
I'm getting back into aviation after 2+ years of retirement. I will be working as a simulator instructor/check airman for an airline. I needed to be brought up to speed. 2 hours with Mike was a great help. His easy manner and vast experience was totally worth it. I will be back again. Thanks Mike.
I was thrilled to try out the new FlightSim software which includes incredibly detailed simulations of both the Boeing 737 and Cessna aircraft. The instrument panels are exact replicas and the controls respond smoothly and accurately to inputs. Taxiing on the runway, I could feel the subtle bumps and vibrations of the aircraft. Taking off and flying in the sky providing breathtaking views and a true sense that I was piloting these incredible machines. You get to choose which airport you decide to land or take off. I took off Boeing field to start with and landed at Paine. Next one, took off Paine and decided to land in Monroe. Great place to enjoy and learn at the same time. I was with a bunch of friends and it was fun!
I had the most incredible experience flying a Boeing 737Max at Simulation Flight!
As this was a team building event for work, I was surprised that the atmosphere was electric with excitement. The staff was beyond welcoming and the attention to detail and realism of simulators was mind-blowing. It truly felt like we were sitting in the cockpits of a real 737Max and Cessna aircrafts.
The event was impeccably organized, and they tailored the simulation to our group's preferences, whether it was taking off and landing at different Seattle area airports and even experiencing challenging weather conditions.
The staff was phenomenal - not only were they experienced pilots, but they were also incredibly patient and supportive as they guided us through the simulator experience; taking the time to explain the controls and procedures and making sure even the most novice among us felt comfortable.
The icing on the cake was the post-flight debriefing which included delicious food and beverages along with a chance to hear memorable stories from a seasoned commercial airline pilot.
I can't thank the team at Simulation Flight enough for making our work event such a success. It was a perfect blend of team building, learning, and pure fun! If you're looking for a unique experience for your team, this is an absolute must-try. Kudos to the entire staff for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication to creating this great team building experience.
I did my IPC in their Cessna simulator (with G1000). All the controls are *real* (no mouse or keyboard clicking). The video displays give you a 180-degree view, and the motion component added more realism than I had expected. Because we could 'pause' and 'reposition', I learned more in one hour in the sims than two hours in a real plane. A very immersive, intense training experience!
