This place is really good. Honestly, for me, the bar was low for a place opening in this location. At the marina we could only eat at Anthony’s so many times before wanting more variety. We were stoked when they started building this building, and only happened to stumble upon its grand open opening. The first time we stopped by we were greeted by one of the owners who was so welcoming and friendly that we would’ve come back no matter what, but the beer was awesome! We’ve probably been ten times now since opening and tried a ton of beers, and every one has hit the spot. In addition, the food, while I will admit is kind of pricey, is excellent. The pizzas are great as well as everything else we’ve tried. I highly recommend the cowboy quesadilla. It’s a great spot to bring our active toddler to also—she loves running around in the outdoor area, and she will always eat whatever food we order, especially the mac n cheese. We are so happy to have them in the neighborhood and only wish they had more seating for when we want to stop by on a weekend night. Great ownership, great food, excellent beer.
Great beer and wonderful food! Tucked in the corner of a business park just off Highway 9 is Sound to Summit Brewing. They offer expansive indoor seating and heated outdoor seating under a covered patio. Sound to Summit Brewing isn’t your typical brewery with only a few simple items on their menu of food and a mixture of their labeled beer and other breweries beer. The food was varied and had delicious signature dishes like their Summit Fries, hamburgers and salads. We shared their Asian Crispy Chicken Salad which had crispy sweet crusted chicken that perfectly complemented the salad. They have a selection of beer that expands almost everyone’s tastes, from lagers, kolsh, IPA’s to Scotch ales and stouts. We really enjoyed the Peanut butter Stout and the Naughty Nick, their seasonal. We sat at the bar as it was quit busy, but had the opportunity to meet Doug and a number of the mug club members who were all incredibly friendly. We will definitely be going back!
I got a flight of different beers. The one I liked the best was the Sail Away Scotch Ale. Apex IPA has a nice sweet fruit aromatic. The food was delicious. Check the specials of the day as your walking in because the Mac and Cheese was great. Bathrooms were okay.
Tonight I had the Truffle fries that come with grated Parmesan cheese. Could use a little more truffle oil, would recommend grated cheese from a block instead of from the can for a little more fresh flavor, (This isn't a deal breaker).
The staff is super friendly, the owner is present and eager to say hello which is awesome. The beer is awesome and so is the atmosphere.
Stopped in Saturday March 19th for a couple pints and also tried the Brussels sprouts and a piece of their scallions focaccia. Wow, both were delicious, especially the sprouts with the balsamic glaze and grated Parmesan.
