“Since moving to Tacoma, my partner and I needed a new auto shop and went to Southend Auto Care a couple weeks ago for routine maintenance on our 2017 Chevy Volt (it's a plug-in hybrid) because they already have great reviews on Yelp. I sent a request via their website and they scheduled my quickly for the next week. I checked in on time and the service was great. I had no idea if the car even needed any maintenance and they were honest and fast. Trevor was the technician who is apparently extremely knowledgeable with hybrid cars so I'm glad we found this shop. They worked quickly and provided a printout of diagnostics to show if anything would be needed in the near future. They also vacuumed the front floors for free which was a nice surprise because I needed to do that for some time. Very professional, friendly and great service all around!”

“Every Costco tire shop seems to be run according to the managers in charge and not all of them are willing to install oversized tires. Oversized meaning larger than stock. I had no problem getting 35's mounted for my FJ55 here and with the constantly rotating deals on different brands, I was able to get a great price on some KM3 mud terrains. All with friendly service is a big plus!”

“Darwin's is a great tire shop. Don't let the lack of a fancy facade and sharply uniformed staff fool you. These guys actually know tires beyond just trying to sell you new ones. My tire needed a fairly straightforward repair but none of the other tire shops would touch it ( "we can only sell you a new tire"). Darwin's got me fixed up and on my way quickly and efficiently. My other favorite thing about Darwin's is they sell quality used tires as well. This is especially important with so many people experiencing the effects of a down economy and inflation. New tires are expensive and not everybody can afford that. Darwin's is a great option for anyone looking to save money and get quality work.”

When I asked for them to show me where to replenish a particular liquid, they didn't hesitate to open the hood and guide me - very patient and great customer service there! Upon guiding me to my power steering portal, they realized they made a mistake with their initial assessment, and quickly informed me of their mistake. They could've taken advantage of me as I am not mechanically inclined, but they chose to be up front. 1. Great customer service, and not just with me, but with everyone who called in while I waited, and everyone in the waiting room. 2. No negative vibes upon entering establishment. 3. It's always a good idea to have the mechanics physically show you what is what under the hood. They are still human, after all.”

“I found this mechanic because my boss recommended him. he is so nice and always smiling. took my vehicle there once so far bc my steering was stiff.. but Tim saw what was wrong, he noticed my half shafts are breaking, wasn't told by any other mechanic that this needed to be fixed. He actually had Me slide under and take a look for myself.. told me the prices right then and there, told me that I only need a certain part of my trucks rack and pinion fixed, told me what part to get, saved me $600.. he always recommends buying the parts ND out and on my way in an hour!! urself and bringing them to him to make sure it's the right part.. saves his customers lots of money... DEFINITELY FOUND A FOREVER MECHANIC!”
