bartender was great. allows for sit down dining and bar top patrons with a separate areas for your chocie of atmosphere. outdoor deck with tables but no view. very cool place for this area and active with the community.

I’ve tried to get my wife to try this place out a couple times. She has her favorite place, but it’s over an hour away. “Surely it can’t be great, nobody even knows where Otsego is,” she says. Well, today was the day she finally agreed. We got there around 5 o’ clock and the parking lot was packed! I said, “see, either this place turns into a used car dealership on Friday nights, or they must have pretty good food!”
We decided to sit at the bar. Despite being slammed, the bartender acknowledged us right away and was very friendly. The service time was decent for a place as busy as this.
Tonight was the night of the first ever snow squall in Wisconsin. Everyone’s phones went off multiple times. We all thought we were going to spend our last hours here…….”if this is going to be my last meal, it better be great!”
By the 3rd squall warning, you’d think we were in an actual yacht club and they were warning us to bring in the ships.
Luckily, the impending doom didn’t phase the kitchen staff, our food arrived piping hot and looking delicious. I ordered the 2 piece cod with hash browns and opted for the clam chowda instead of baked beans. The chowder was creamy and delicious, some of the best I’ve had since Maine back in ‘03. When the fish arrived, the first thing I noticed was there was no sign of grease. This was a good sign. I love a nice crispy batter with steamy, flakey fish underneath. That’s exactly what this was. The tartar was very good, although not needed. This was some of the best fish I’d ever had! I’m very glad we finally went there. It made the death defying voyage ahead feel a little less treacherous. Seriously though, that was the worst weather I’ve ever driven in. We made it home safely and our yacht did not sustain any damage. We will surely return, hopefully with fairer weather next time!

My new favorite fish fry in Wisconsin! And despite the restaurant being so busy, our service was excellent. Would recommend this 10/10!
