At Home Again - Rio is just amazing! I was lucky enough to be asked to apply and have experienced the love and caring from staff and residents alike for over a year now! I also have a family member residing here and am happy I get to spend time with them as well. Alexandra, management & staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and train you well as an employee so you are confident in your cares. You can see the outpouring of love and kindness from Alexandra each and every time she talks to/interacts with a resident. She absolutely loves what she does and that makes it all the more special. This is truly the best place to spend your final years as an elderly person. I would 10/10 recommend to everyone looking for a place for their loved one. Also 10/10 would recommend for employment! Working here makes you feel like you are making a huge difference in someone’s life.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and cannot tell you about the outstanding care and compassion that I have witnessed `at this facility. When people think of assisted living facilities they want an atmosphere that will foster that "at home feeling and care". I know that when I was younger and working in an assisted living facility, I never once saw the owner nor did I ever feel as if it was family orientated. I came to At Home Again Rio during the last semester of ,my Business program as an intern. I can tell you that I was completely in shock. This facility is not only owned by two of the most selfless people I have ever met but, they have some amazing staff. The owner is not only a nurse that is trained to assess and evaluate the residents as that is her job but because taking care of those individuals that families have trusted her with is her passion. She works long hours and can tell you anything about one of her residents medical histories or concerns without pulling a chart. The resident's are truly loved and cared for. I have never seen a facility with so many activites and outings. From rides to see lights, farmers market, happy hour, current events, to drive by parades this facility and it's owners have helped to restore my faith in humanity. When the time comes and I need to choose a place for my parent to live because I am unable to provide the care she will need, I know that I can trust the love, care, and compassion that she will receive here.

I have worked in healthcare since 1994 and three years ago my family and I needed to find placement for my grandmother And this made me very nervous. I spoke with a hospice nurse and explained the situation and she recommended I check out At Home Again Rio. We called the facility and the next day we went in and had a meeting with the owner which also is an RN and I was shocked and amazed at how well management was so organized and on top of everything. The activities and the outings and most of all how well taken care of the residents are. For a small facility they always have two full-time staff in each building along with the owners that are hands on as well. It’s one big happy family. The training that is given to staff is incredible.
My grandmother moved in the following week. We would take my grandmother out for doctors appointments or out shopping and she would say I’m ready to go home now not meaning her home but her new home. This made us very happy and she would always say how much she loved it if she couldn’t be at her home this is the only other place she’d rather be. After hearing and seeing all the great things about this place I Applied for a job as a caregiver it was the best thing I ever did. We lost my grandmother and in her final days and moments all the staff did an absolute fabulous job of caring for my grandmother in her final moments.
If I can’t be at “my home “ this is the only other place I would want to be!

I have been in some sort of nursing for the last 24 years and by far this is one of the best place I've ever worked! Management makes you feel like family! Residents are treated so good!! Alexandra and Josh make sure they don't go without anything! Fun activities for the residents to do! Would highly recommend to any of my family or friends if they ever needed an assisted living!

This is an awesome place!! I cannot say enough good things about At Home Assisted Living in Rio. They are a top notch facility with professional employees that truly care about their residents. Everyone is known by name and treated by the employees like family from the beginning. The rooms are spacious, the homemade meals are delicious and the live music is phenomenal. Management goes above and beyond for these residents with daily activities and homemade holiday meals for the entire family. If you want your family member to have the best transition from their home to an Assisted Living, this is the place for you!. It is truly a home away from home!
