Stewart Lake County Park

Lovely little park.. hidden in a valley...newer shelter... very clean....booked for class reunion..park ranger checked in with us right away to answer any questions and point out facilities...

Nice little body of water. Perfect for some kayaking. There's a great amount of flora and fauna: tadpoles, painted turtles, dragonflies, birds, little fish and even a fairly large snapper who lives on the right bay in the cattails. Nicely groomed paths to the right of the lake meander into a more marshy area with a few fun little foot bridges. Tends to be a bit quieter earlier in the weekday but a bit busier on the weekends.

Beautiful lake and well maintained hiking paths, this is a nice place for a picnic at the pavilion, a hike and even to wade. There's a small sandy beach and play equipment. Benches are placed throughout the park to rest and enjoy the views.

Hidden gem! Really like this park. Nice nature trail and a small pond. Good spot to stretch the legs.
