(October 13, 2021, 2:48 am)Have not actually been through the marshland areas or trails, but the area itself is beautiful and it’s a unique and peaceful location. For those of you not aware, this not a regular “park” per se, so don’t plan on bringing kids or planning a recreational trip.

CHEROKEE MARSH FISHERY AREA - Wisconsin DNR
The Cherokee Marsh Fishery Area is located in Westport Township (T 8N, R 9E, sections 12 and 13) and overlaps into Burke Township (T 8N, R 10E, sections 5, 6, and 7) in Dane County.
