Pancake Cafe Stoughton

A bit too "echoy" for my taste. Needs more cloth to absorb ambient nose. With both talking and music, it's hard to hear you server or companions. Other than that, the food, service, and prices are good. Got the meet the owner and chat for a bit. Nice guy. Nice place.

I definitely recommend this restaurant and have been here several times. So far just for breakfast because hey it is Pancake Cafe! The manager is friendly and very willing to make your visit a pleasure.

On Sunday morning you may have to wait especially if you come right after church. Since that is obviously a popular time to go out for breakfast. You can get your name in the list and they will call you when they have a table. I appreciate that so you don’t have to hover by the hostess. The wait staff is quick and kitchen seems to run efficiently to handle the rush.

Something I noticed on my last visit. The manager’s patience and support for an elderly woman who arrived with her family during the rush. She appeared anxious but the manager welcomed her and did his best to keep her informed of when a table would be available. You could tell she was more comfortable by being treated like that. Truly get the small town feel from this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of eating at this Pancake Cafe back in May when I was visiting a friend. We don’t have Pancake Cafe’s in Kentucky, which is something that should really be changed. Our waitress was sweet, though she did forget to put our order in. My friend and I didn’t notice though as we were just sitting there talking. The owner came up and told us what had happened and that he was going to take care of our meal. He was extremely friendly and we appreciated his gesture.

But the food! Oh my goodness, it was SO yummy! I had never tried banana pancakes before, I’m usually a plain Jane eater. But I decided to be slightly adventurous. The smell when they came out was heavenly and HUGE! I took so much back to my friend’s house, I had pancakes for breakfast for three more days!

When I visit again, this Pancake Cafe will definitely be one of my first stops.

Great food and service! Corned beef hash was delicious and I loved that they offered a 1/2 portion of eggs Benedict. The waitress was great and actually played photographer. Very bright and cheerful!

Usually we go here for breakfast so can't really say much about their lunch menu. A large variety of breakfast selections. Good pancakes. Love the bacon! On occasion the service can be a bit slow but worth the wait. Would recommend.
