This place is an exemplar of what makes living in Madison so great. A friendly, bustling, family-welcoming place where you will see several friends on any night. The food is interesting and wonderfully prepared. The menu offers kid-friendly and parent-pleasing options.

This place is fantastic if...you have the right waiter. If you don't, it is VERY disappointing. The food is always excellent, IF it is hot. If not, it loses all of its potential. Ask for Nick, if you can get him. He should absolutely be the trainer of all of the rest of the wait staff. We have been extremely disappointed every time we have been there, except the times that Nick was the waiter. It can be all that good food, all that great environment, but then it can be all wasted by poor service and cold food. Please, let Nick train the rest of the waitstaff.

We arrived a little after 8 PM on a Friday night, we were seated right away, even tho it was busy, they found a place for us. Adrian, our waitress was exceptional. She suggested a glass of wine for our meal along with describing their mouthwatering specials. We were not disappointed in the spicy chicken sandwich topped with slaw or the bowl of savory Italian sausage & potato soup. Their menu is rich with home made delicacies, will have to save room for dessert next time we're there.

Great service and happy people. The Clam chowder is good, the pizza is good, too. The chicken sandwich is a treat, spicy and great. A friend mentioned it's perhaps the finest place for seafood in Madison. It's roomy and in a beautiful neighbourhood. There usually is no wait.
