(August 26, 2018, 8:13 pm)We loved the amenities at this park so much! The showers were huge, there's a sink for dishes, and the trails are amazing. The biggest issue is that you are right on top of each other. It's next to some great hiking trails and dog park and less than 10 minutes from a Walmart.
(June 24, 2018, 10:35 am)Great spot! So close to the city, but still in nature. Clean, friendly, near a lot of bike trails and hiking trails.
(June 19, 2018, 11:46 am)Very nice place close to the city. The sites were nice and long. Even had a few pull through sites. We stayed here for a family reunion. The showers and baths were very clean. There was a great biking trail that lead down to the lake. We will stay there again.

Quiet, wake to birdsong. Site mostly level. Many sites near trees for shade. Full on weekends!
(August 12, 2016, 11:11 pm)Well located a little over 4 miles from the Capitol via bike path. Camp sites and grounds nicely maintained. However, the mosquitoes are the WORST I've encountered outside of the swamps in Louisiana. It started raining some yesterday but clearly with all the water around here nothing is being done to control them. Getting bitten even after spraying and through clothing.
