(August 1, 2019, 11:09 am)New to Crossfit and frankly a bit intimidated by it for years. I took the plunge with Mike Burton's Crossfit 101 class. I couldn't be happier with the comfortable atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the willingness to be patient with me. Mike is a great coach and I feel like I'm ready to be a regular.

(October 30, 2018, 10:32 pm)Been doing crossfit for a while but having moved for a 3rd time, I needed a new gym nearby. The gym is a bit small but the owner, Mike, runs a great program. Immediately felt welcomed and a good mix of new and experienced members.
Mike cares about his business and it definitely shows. There are other bigger gyms out there with a lot of different coaches, but since Mike teaches the majority of the classes, you're almost guaranteed a quality program. As I always like to say, quality over quantity!

(June 4, 2018, 12:59 pm)Great State Crossfit is a phenomenal gym right around the corner from the Alliant Energy Center where the Crossfit Games are held.
I've had the opportunity to drop-in a few different times when in town and always enjoy my experience. The coaching staff is top-notch, the space is clean and well laid out. I'd highly recommend Great State Crossfit to anyone.
