(August 11, 2022, 1:51 pm)They've updated this building nicely. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. I have to say that the views are nice along this waterway area, including from the beach, but the water in Lake Mendota is always gross and mucky along the shores. For those reasons, I only go here to sit and look out; I don't go in the water anymore but many other people still do so I guess you'll have to make that decision for yourself.

(August 31, 2019, 2:57 pm)Nice place to catch sunsets. Sometimes there are some not so desirable hanging around but hey, it's a city park with a great view I can't blame them for wanting to be there too
