  Absolutely love this place. So beautiful, I always feel serenity and I’m able to connect with God die to the wonderful nature and lack of distractions. Also, they take care of you well with food and drinks available. I come here every year and I look forward to every visit.

  This was my first retreat at Holy Wisdom Monastery, though I've had many retreats throughout my life. Of all of them, Holy Wisdom Monastery is the "stand out" experience. The ecumenical Benedictine sense of welcome and the care for the land and the amazing prairie restoration alone are amazing. The food was fantastic, the staff warm and caring. Mine was a silent retreat and there was plenty of quiet to enjoy, sweetly adorned by lovely birdsong. Looking forward to next time!

  I walked the gorgeous prairie last year while visiting a friend who stayed in the guest house. Later in the fall, I stayed overnight. Wonderful accommodations! Just stayed again with friends and we were all delighted and enchanted by the grounds and the rooms. Quiet, with just the right level of necessities. We all slept well, and weren’t eager to leave. We will most certainly be back.

  Had a wonderful time here for a silent retreat. One of the most beautiful moments of my life was being here with these amazing stars. Thank you. ?

  I love staying here. It's beautiful and quiet. The food is delicious. I always meet lovely people. I recharge and can return to life better able to live with intention and whole heartedness.
