  In response to the 1 star review that was done one month ago. I do know the entire story of this funeral because it was for my aunt. She was a lifelong member of Friedens (88 years). Pastor Straseske did want to conduct her funeral but JD did not want him to do the service. I am sure he would have done even if it was in the funeral home. My aunt always attended church when she could and played the organ there for many years. Pastor Straseske treats my dad very well and frequently visits him at the assisted living facility and has devotion and communion. My aunt also lived at the same facility. I do not like to see someone criticized when parts of the story are omitted.

  I have not been inside the facility. But I used to live in the town, and have heard many great things about the pastor. I have personally seen nice things he has done for others. I wouldn't mind listening to a sermon from him.
