Alden Estates of Jefferson Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

I had to go to Alden because of having a wound vac on my leg. I was not happy when getting there. I hated it. I thought it a horrible place to be in fact I got to my room and I didn't unpack my bags I walked out. As I cleared my head,I went back in. Boy was I glad I did. They have one of the best nursing staff I have ever seen,they truly care about you. The activites staff can not be beat. They try to get you evolved in the many things they have going on every day multiple times a day. Therapists were great they work with you and try to help you do your best. The food was good there menus for every day and if you don't like what they will be serving the have a alternative men . All I can say if I would ever have to go back into rehab again,which I hope I never have to I would go back to Alden

In my time working at Alden for a short but awesome 6 months, I soon found out there is no place to work like Alden. I learned a lot about myself and how to help others before myself and it really opened my eye. I had a really great experience working there and I would love to go back some day!

I've worked here for 6 hours, going on 7. Over the years, I have bonded with many of the staff and residents. During my recent own hospitalization, I received cards and visits from both residents and staff, wishing me well and a hasty recovery. Very happy. Myself and the other staff attempt to assist the residents above and beyond. Personally, I have worked to learn from the staff, residents, and visitors alike as I grow with the company.

Thank you to your CNA’s for not just doing their job, but for *caring* for my loved one. CNA are Angels. Patient. Understanding. Experienced. I have to drive over an hour one way to visit. I would gladly drive two hours, knowing how sunny and clean it will be when I get there. I thank you. My family thanks you.
