Thompson Strawberry Farm

15 bucks/adult. You get a large cup to fill up with as many sunflowers as you can. It was almost empty when we went on a Friday afternoon. There were are a lot of bees working! Would definitely come here again.

The strawberries are so sweet and tasty. We had to taste each row before we picked. Such a laid back morning, picking, tasting, singing and meeting lots of people. Staff was so nice!

Sunflowers anyone? Cool place to spend family time together. 12 bucks/adult and 6 bucks/child for admission fee to pick 6 sunflower stems and a bouquet with wildflowers. Prenty of open parking spaces. Don't forget to bring own scissors or garden pruning shears.

Paths in sunflower fields are fairly accessible to strollers and wheelchairs but the wildflowers area is not at all. Enjoyed a couple hours picking stems. They only have a watering area by the sunflower field and not the wildflowers, so you'll have to backtrack. Tons of beautiful flowers, and we divided them into two smaller bouquet. Great value for the Labor Day weekend special. $12 got us 12 stems :) they also have a piano by the sunflower fields and trimming tables. I would bring your own snacks....not much of a concessions trailer but they do have water.

I grew up picking strawberries at this farm every summer. Today was my first time visiting the sunflowers with my daughter and granddaughter. It was amazing to see the sheer beauty of them. And my granddaughter had as much fun as I did as a child visiting the farm! I highly recommend supporting this farm. A huge thank you to the owners for keeping such a lovely place in tact for all to enjoy and continuing to bring smiles to my face.
