Great parish to be part of. Awesome parish festival coming up the weekend after Labor day. Come join us!
There was a large summer festival in the parking lot of this church, and we had a great time dancing to a highly professional band playing there. In addition to the musical entertainment and dancing, there were numerous booths serving food, handmade crafts and a variety of curiosities and oddities of all kinds. It was all quite interesting.
Inside the large church building, which also contains a school, there are cafeteria facilities, along with extremely clean restrooms. All of the people here were welcoming to us, and everyone had a wonderful time on that lovely day that was unusually cold for summer.
The band was excellent, calling themselves “Bobby Way and the Way-Outs”. They featured a vast variety of music, including a lot of our favorite Beatles tunes. It turned into a wonderful afternoon for a couple of dancing fools like us.
