  Came in for carryout and their team was excellent. The female manager/owner was so kind and extremely friendly! Food came up fast and was amazing. I can't wait to come back!

  Old school diner in the best way. The chicken dumpling soup is perfect and I found a tuna sandwich that was not all tweaked and finessed and made into something other than comfort food. My server was friendly and just right for checking on me. The atmosphere is definitely diner and if that's what you've been missing....welcome home!

  Ma Fischer's is one of my go-to places in Milwaukee. There's nothing fancy about them, but this local icon is the place to be if you're in the mood for quick and delicious diner style food. Their black bean burgers are amazing and they make the best fries in town. My husband always opts for the chicken and waffles, and they make one of the best clam chowders I've ever tasted. I've been going here for over 10 years and anticipate that I'll be going back for many years to come.

  Oh we loved our visit to this historic restaurant! We will be back! Make sure to ask about their catch of the day! The menu is very extensive. There is something for everyone and every craving. The chicken soup was very yummy! The portions are very large and delicious! Enjoy!

  As you can see I got a lot of great food at reasonable prices. I started with chicken noodle soup with thick pieces of both chicken and noodles in a lightly salted broth and huge oyster crackers that slightly softened in the hot soup. That was just the starter. Then came the main attraction-the Chicken Alfredo. I got fresh off the kernel corn. Yum! I love Ma Fischer. It is a true East side staple. They were also very accommodating to this Disabled Dinner. Go and have fun there.
