I've been a patient with Dr. Coran for ~20 years - began with being referred to her by our pediatrician for our toddler. Her care, concern, compassion, skills/abilities and expertise from dealing with a toddler to a teenager to a young adult, and for me/my husband, has been exceptional. The quality of her medical assistants ranks right up there too. It's reassuring to have a medical provider who takes the time to address issues and ensures matters that need tracking and/or observing are reviewed and followed up appropriately. I've referred family and friends to her and they've all thanked me for the recommendation and have continued with her services as well.
Hands down the best ophthalmologist I have ever been to, period! As a patient with multiple issues spanning a wide variety of practice expertise, Dr. Coran has been a lifesaver in both treating my symptoms and distilling down complicated manners in a way that is easily digestible for the patient. I have been to a number of experts across Chicago, Milwaukee, and New York, and would rank Dr. Coran as the single best doctor amongst all that I have tried. Honestly, would like to give 10 stars, but google won't allow.
I have been seeing Dr. Coran for over 5 years and it was one of the best moves I have made. She takes her time with patients and explains things in manner easy to understand. As my eyes have been aging, I completely trust Dr. Coran and all the expert advice she has give me. I am seeing better than ever.
Dr. Coran is extremely thorough in her examination process. She and her staff take the time necessary to do their jobs to ensure the best patient care.
Dr Coran was fantastic. I came in with an eye condition and she took me very quickly. Her expertise gave me solutions to an ongoing problem that is now much better! I gave her name to several friends and they all agreed she was great at what she does!!!
