(January 3, 2020, 9:43 pm)The Farmers Wife prepares its food from fresh ingredients. No frozen food. No microwave. They provide non-gluten options. Our meals (the Friday fish fry) were ample and delicious. The wait staff is personable and helpful. The restaurant is comfortable. A well-stocked bar provides alcoholic beverages.
(August 15, 2018, 7:37 pm)This local restaurant uses locally sustainable foods, and offers gluten free, organic and vegan options. The menu changes regularly but is always delicious. My mother in law recently ordered a lobster roll (see photo) and it was better than other places I've seen that specialize in seafood. I had the meatloaf, also delightful, and the table shared the homemade ( I think all of their food is) jalapeno cornbread. Prices are extremely reasonable. I recommend seeking out this hidden gem.
