Our Mother passed away on February 19, 2023. We selected Eernissee to provide the funeral and burial arrangements. We could not have been more pleased with their services, their compassion and their professionalism.

When Mom passed away in her assisted living home, Eernissee staff members in business dress came within hours of her death to transport her to their facility, gently and with dignity. When our family met with Marc Eernissee and son Joe Eernissee to discuss and decide on funeral arrangements, they had a checklist of items and details which made our decisions easier. Their experience was evident throughout our planning meeting. They contacted the church as to availability for the Mass of Resurrection, they assisted in the application of the death certificate, and they arranged for the post-funeral reception for family and friends and made many reasonable suggestions about the content of the obituary, the funeral and burial logistics.

On the day of the funeral, all the Eernissee staff were very prepared at the church. The guests were greeted by Marc Eernissee who invited them to sign the Guest Book, take memorial cards and view family picture boards while they waited to express memories and condolences to the family. Our mom looked so calm and peaceful. Thanks to the skill of the Eernissee staff, this is the face of our Mom we will remember forever.

In summary, I cannot remember any aspect of our mother's visitation, funeral, reception or burial that the Eernissee staff did not anticipate and fulfill with dignity and kindness. I extend my sincere gratitude and thanks to Marc and Joe Eernissee and their staff for walking with us during this sad occasion and allowing the family to focus on our mom's long 92 year life well lived.
