I’m very happy being a caregiver at HISC. The staff is friendly, professional, and shows compassion for the senior population. The staff created a schedule for me immediately following my orientation, and have been able to accommodate my hours and availability without any complications. I highly recommend working for HISC.

Home Instead is a great company to work for as a caregiver. I like the fact that Christian love and caring is the focus. Each client is carefully matched with a caregiver who can give the best assistance to him or her.

The staff is very supportive and responds quickly when you need assistance. Training is thorough and if you need more, they are very happy to assist. Home Instead staff give encouragement, recognition, and rewards to employees throughout the year.

Caring for seniors is rewarding and sometimes challenging. I strive to make my clients lives easier, safer, and more interesting with a variety of activities.

Every senior has a story and I find their experiences and knowledge very enlightening. Whether the clients realize it or not, they have made a difference in the world and they will be remembered by the lives they have touched --including mine.

On a more personal note, my mother was a Home Instead client. My sisters and I are so grateful to the caregivers who gave our mother kindness, patience, understanding, and companionship as they assisted with her daily cares when we could not be there to help.
