My family has an annual stay here around the end of July and beginning of August, we miss the old owners as we have been going for over 3 years and you moved in around then, and we hope you don't add too many cabins because we enjoy our tenting spaces, also the play ground me and my cousins enjoy along with the docks and the floating dock. We all hope you guys don't change it too much, but thank you for taking care of it.
-Carey's and the Wood's!
For my sisters birthday ~ I rented a cabin for her for 4 nights so she could fish, fish, and fish some more! She liked it so much; we extended her stay for two more days! If the cabin wasn't already rented out ~ I think she would have stayed another week. Well worth it for her to relax and do a lot of fishing! Thank you Skonewood!
We had a great time! Couldn’t think of one thing that would need to change! Felt very welcomed by the staff and fellow campers. Grands played with kids we met on 4th of July, so blessed to have this campground!
If you are looking for a family friendly campground, I highly recommend Skonewood. I like it that the playground with wide open grass area for sports are available right on sight so it's easy to keep your eyes on the kids. Each stall came with running water and electricity which is a HUGE plus!! The swimming area was great for kids. The float mat was their favorite!! Lots of sunnies if you're looking to fish but not much more than a bunch of sunnies. Once in a while you'll see a few bass come by but that's about it. This was our second time here and would definitely come back again in the future.
