Reserve 3 months ahead for church services and lunch. Has electricity and tables. Weather was great.
My son says "it was really fun. I like that there is two parks. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it was bigger."
White river and Fox River merge by the park. If you start at Echo park, following Broadway, get over begrudge and make back to the Wehmhoff Park. Thus park continues along Fox with relaxing views and planty beaches and small walking bridges. Just very cute park in the middle of the town.
This park is fantastic!!! One of my favorite spots to go in Burlington at all times of the year! The gazebos are nice and stay consistently clean plus the great jungle gym with a great view of the river. The basketball court is also one of the best spots to shoot some hoops in town, I'm not sure if they turn the lights on in the summer but some night basketball games would just make this place even better! I've been to alot of places but this park has always had a great vibe for me. Love it.
My favorite place in the park is the pavilion!
Need to charge your phone? There's lots of outlets to plug in! Real bathrooms and the bubbler are here😊 The geese don't seem to feel as threatened by you (if you sit quietly) and will come close. The Barn Swallows put on a show every morning when the sun hits their nests! Best performance ever!
If you're looking for a peaceful place to sit and read, draw or eat, this is it!
