(February 20, 2019, 10:21 am)Beautiful hardwood preserve, with a loop road running around the perimeter, connecting a half dozen secluded picnic grounds, as well as a small camp ground. Through the center of the preserve, run a web of trails, allowing for one to truly disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Great to visit anytime of year, parking lot is usually open, ring road is closed in winter.

(July 1, 2018, 12:42 am)Great local park! Really enjoy the loop. Beautiful. Park lots are fairly maintained overall. Some picnic table need repair or replacement. Also, they need to spruce up their signage. The landmark tree plaque is unreadable and their reserved signs are just unprotected pieces of paper tacked onto the lot sign. Really tacky. Pun intended. Overall, however, its a fairly nice place to visit.
