Cozumel Mexican Restaurant

This has been the restaurant of my choice for Mexican food in Janesville for a little over 10 years. It has never disappointed. Servers are always friendly, fast and on top of their orders, it only that but the busboys too, huge shout out to Mario the busboy! He was super welcoming, and had the kindest personality. The food always has great flavor and comes out on time. I modify the veggie fajitas and have never had servers turn me down or deny any request, which is a huge plus. The chicken for the Pollo Verde dish is tender and tasty and according to bf. Good selection of vegetarian dishes as well! The environment is calm and they have unique old fashioned traditional Mexican decor. Prices are very reasonable! Cheaper than IL for sure. Big parking space, clean bathrooms. Overall well kept. It was very busy, but the waiter was absolutely fantastic, amazing job 👏🏽. Unfortunately the food was okay. I kept having to stop chewing to take out a burnt piece of steak or onions. I’ve been here a few times already. Every time I always have a burnt piece of onion or meat but maybe it adds flavor or something I don’t know. Overall decent

Get there after the rush around 7pm Saturday. Ordered fajitas fiestas double. Had chicken, steak, and scrimp. Comes with tortillas and two plates of rice and beans, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, & sour cream. They have good Mexican beers on draft. Chips and salsa and even their own hot picante are tasty. Will be back when I'm in. Janesville

It was "Date Night Saturday" we love going here food is always fresh, Tender, Love the chips and salsa. Quality service always. We like doing lunch here also prices and quantities are good.
There are other places in town to try but we always wind up at Cozumel.
It's our Favorite and might become one of yours

Me and my sister went for lunch,our food was hot and surprisingly we did not wait for our food a lot g time this time.Our server was nice ,funny and great on serving our needs ,prompt and checked on often.
