I rented with RK Smith for about 25 years in the same building/same unit. In my experience I have had great service and relationships with the staff.
When I had a repair that was needed, it was done that same day or the very next day. If I had other concerns or issues-- which there weren't many--they were handled and solved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
My apartment was a nice large size . The rooms were big and it had a ton of closet space. The rent was so reasonable and it included heat and water which is a huge help in the winter.
The office and maintenance employees were friendly and always willing to help. They always called back the same day if I left a message. My whole experience with RK Smith as a whole was excellent.
I really hated to give my apartment up, but due to family reasons I had to move out, otherwise I would definitely have renewed my lease.

I have rented from this company now for almost 5 months, and I can say I have had a genuinely great experience! Any maintenance requests have been filled almost immediately, even jobs that needed specialists or new parts. A lot of the reviews state they can never get ahold of anyone in the office, however the office staff has been super responsive and helpful with anything we’ve needed as well as being very understanding about unforeseen life surprises/the aftermath of the pandemic affecting payments or even with the application process itself. I have always rented from private landlords, both good and bad, and I can honestly say that rk smith realty really cares about their tenants.

Since moving into my apartment six years ago, I have enjoyed a friendly and professional relationship with the office staff and maintenance department at R.K. Smith. When I have submitted questions or work orders, the staff has been friendly as well as punctual with their response. Only in one instance was work I had requested delayed for some months; and only twice have I had to clean up after a job was completed. Otherwise, from patching wallboard in the garage to replacing the kitchen garbage disposal to adding a fresh coat of paint to the living room walls, each job was completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Overall, workers and staff have been friendly and eager to please.

The management company RK Smith has been far better to work with than 98% of my previous landlords They're very good like a refrigerator washer dryer dishwasher goes down they try to get somebody out as Soon as they possibly can They keep the yard area very well maintained and free of debris and brush . Outside of desperately Needing new carpet in the apartment Can't say anything bad about them at all .The rent is very reasonable and affordable. And the ladies work down in the office are always extremely friendly and try to help you with any questions or concerns that you may have their fantastic

Cheap rent $595 for a two bedroom off of N.Palm st. Went up $25 still pretty cheap. Small unit building neighbors are nice. Parking lot does need to be redone (giant pothole) but landlord is pretty responsive when something breaks.
