Great place to shoot. Staff are friendly and helpful
Amazing range! Great team and great atmosphere! I was really impressed with the high quality ventilation, gun smith is awesome, helped me out big time! I thought my session was cut short, he took a look at the firearm and I was right back out there! Great place to spend time with friends and family, or just sharpen your skills if you have some free time to yourself, keep up the good work team "DEZ"
This was my first time at this DEZ Indoor Shooting Range & Dez Tactical Arms, Inc. The store it self is top-notch and staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. My friend and I decided to check this out because of its close proximity to Madison and it seemed like the most modern range in the area. Before entering the range we heard some of the employees discussing the cost of the Range per hour and that there was a Membership option as well. After doing some quick math and talking the staff the 1 year Membership options made the most sense for a person using the range 2-4 times a month, On the spot my friend and I bought 2 memberships before even stepping foot into the range :) You could tell before even stepping foot into the range and even taking your first shot that this place new what it was doing.
My first initial experience on the range was excellent, very modern with accurate touch screens for the targets and a clean well lit safe environment to get proficient with your firearms. While on the range one of the staff named Don approached me and asked if I was pretty new to shooting as I was there to zero my Springfield Saint Rifle. He could tell I was a competent shooter, but at the same could use some advice for sighting the rifle. Don took some time with me and did an outstanding job helping me zero the Springfield Saint and gave me some great advice to make me a more capable shooter with this Rifle. This was a great experience at the Range and I'm happy that I now have a membership to continue my training.
If you've taken your time to read through all this. I'll leave you with this. This is the best shop and indoor range in the area!
Thanks again:
Ian
Good experience with lots of gun varieties and experienced trainer. Expensive, even charged for safety glasses no matter we took it our own. Need support for taking photos with unloaded guns for instagramers
Outstanding Range, new feel, clean, and for those who treat firearms with the respect they demand respect is always given.
During COVID it was always my oasis of sanity, never a mask mandate but always your choice (freedom).
Read carefully all rules and waiver/directions. Everything you need to know is clearly explained and written down in an easy to read way. (Including no refund of range fees) start out with the amount of time you know you will use and you can always add more.
First trip to the range? Expect to spend a good deal of extra time reading and learning the rules, reading the waivers and learning how the range operates. It can take up to an hour to get on the range the first time but it is well spent. If you don’t get or understand parts of the waiver ASK QUESTIONS, they will go line by line if you need them to. Return trips can be very quick and fun as there is usually a lane open outside of Fridays.
To the negative reviews, can easily be explained as not paying attention to the very serious rules. These tools are known to be deadly if not respected. The rules are very closely enforced which makes regulars feel at home when on the range with first time shooters. It is always a good time.
