New Life Physical Therapy

Total knee replacement surgery required PT for a full recovery. It's not easy or pain free, but working with Taylor has made it worthwhile. We worked on bending the new knee, goals were set each week, home exercises to do daily and answers to all my questions. Back to life activities.

My experience at New Life has been amazing. I’ve relied on Jordan Hove with Samantha and Taylor for quite a while for several different problems. While I was on a protocol for CLL and couldn’t have surgery, I received therapy for my hip and shoulder. As it got closer to the end of the protocol, Jordan started “prefab” for my impending shoulder surgery. My rehab after shoulder surgery went so well that I was able to have hip replacement surgery only six months after shoulder surgery, well before the timing anticipated when I had the surgery. During the shoulder rehab Jordan started the “prefab” on my hip so my rehab could have the same positive result. My hip replacement was on December 14, and rehab is already going well, I swear by my experience and tell everyone how much credit I give to Jordan and New Life. One of the best things has been the cooperation between New Life and my trainer at Pulse to make sure I was ready for surgery and ready for excellent recovery after surgery.

I am beyond thrilled that I found Becki Braund at New Life PT in Baraboo. She is by far the best PT I’ve even seen. She helped my back, knee and female pain immensely by the work she did and taught me how to move correctly and strengthen my core floor and other muscles, which in turn helped my thoracic spine & neck, and has changed everything for me! I’m so grateful. Loved the clinic staff and their philosophy there too. I hope I never need PT again, but if I ever do, Becki is the one I’ll see!

New Life PT was easy to work with for scheduling and transparent about my insurance and options. Becki, who I worked with was very good at asking questions to find out my history, concerns, and then was very good at giving exercises and education to help improve my areas of weakness. It was exactly what I needed!!

My journey with Dr. Jordan Hove and New Life Physical Therapy (Baraboo) started in August, 2022. After over 40+ years, my orthopedic surgeon told me if I didn't have my knees replaced, I would live the rest of my life in a wheelchair. So, a right total knee replacement was performed and I had outpatient therapy at New Life. After a fabulous and amazing rehabilitative recovery, in order to prepare for the left total knee replacement, I scheduled a month of therapy to get ready for the second surgery. In April, 2023, the surgery was performed, followed by outpatient rehabilitation again by Jordan. He had his work cut out with me because not only did I have to rehab both legs but I had to learn how to make them work together without a walker and cane. An amazing accomplishment just happened when I recently graduated and walked out the New Life door on my own with no assistance, pep in my step, and a smile on my face!
